We LOVE being outdoors and as much as we love having all four seasons where we live, about this time of the year we all start to get very excited for the spring and for warmer weather. This Saturday the weather was incredible, so we took Trace and Ruby to the lake to feed the ducks and hike part of the trail. We had a great time.
The ducks and geese appreciated the healthy bread the kids brought...because they really do care!
We walked out over the water. Trace and Ruby were not even a bit scared, in fact, they were both trying to jump right in, so we had to hold hands the entire way!
Trace jumped over rocks that were small enough for him to get around...and thanks to Daddy, he also jumped off of the big rocks.
Ruby ran all over the place, she was so excited, and had absolutely no fear near the waters edge.

The both LOVED throwing rocks into the water and on to the ice patch that was over a big section of the water. Garrett is a pro-skipper, so he also had a great time skipping rocks for them.
And we even took a half way decent family photo...
